Working for the most user-centric brand in the World allowed me to learn so much about starting with the customer and working backward in every aspect of my job. As it was my first experience in a media-agency-like structure, the challenges were various but exciting for me.
During my time in the Advertising department, my mission was to help developing, scaling, and elevating Design internally as well as externally. We were 2 permanent designers and 2 freelancers outside of the US at the beginning. We've ended up being more than 60 visual designers, interactive designers, design technologists, art directors... in less than 4 years. The team I was responsible for delivered more than 2000 ad campaigns using the various Amazon advertising channels and platforms.
My role was also to partner with the Sales team, agencies, and brands to first understand their business challenges and defining a creative strategy that will solve them. In a second time, I've also conducted 7 creative workshops and more than 28 creative consultations with various advertisers to educate about customer behaviors and experiences by sharing best practices and insights.
